🔍 Project Overview:

✔ Extracted and aggregated international trade data from the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT Saudi Arabia) using Excel.
✔ Cleaned and transformed the data using VLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH, UNIQUE, and Power Query.
✔ Loaded the refined data into Pandas DataFrame for deeper analysis in Python.
✔ Developed interactive visualizations with Plotly to highlight trends and insights.
✔ Built and deployed a Dash by Plotly dashboard for a user-friendly experience.

📊 Import Surge: Significant increase in imports from 2021 to 2024, possibly due to major projects underway in Saudi Arabia.
📉 Export Growth Trends: Exports is growing steadily, and with government initiatives like “Made in Saudi”, exports are expected to rise.
🛢 Top Exported Product: Mineral Products (Oils, petroleum products).
⚙ Top Imported Product: Machinery & Mechanical Appliances, Electrical Equipment – Saudi Arabia imports high-quality products from various countries.
📈 Overall Trade Growth:

• Exports increased by +12.1%
• Imports increased by +12.9%
  🌏 Top Trading Partner:
• Top Export Destination: 🇨🇳 China (15% of all exports)
• Top Import Source: 🇨🇳 China (6.5% of all imports)
  🚢 Mode of Transport: 60% of imports/exports are conducted via sea.
  🏭 Product Types:
• 73% of imports are finished goods, while raw materials are expected to increase as Saudi Arabia promotes local manufacturing by offering import concessions.
